What started me down this road of producing unique yet functional display trees?

Well, I love to work with metal and I found that people enjoyed using my standing flower art pieces to hold jewelry.  I started looking around at what was out there and was not impressed.  Most of it is mass produced and/or imported.

I drew up about 10 designs of what I thought an earring display should look like and had my significant other see if they were at all functional-she thought they were.  After some tweaking, I came up with the earring display trees you see below.
